BUILDING THINGS
Our business is based on a childhood fascination with construction sites and a lifelong inability to stay off them, despite the best efforts of parents, teachers and the admonishment of college proffesors that one never accomplishes much in the trades. A few hundred houses later we're stil here. But it hasn't been just houses, we've built restauraunts, bars, tennant improvements and a full scale replica of a pirate ship, Sir Francis Drake's Golden Hinde. Framing is about figuring it out and doing what it takes to get the job done and and sometimes that means tying nautical knots fifty feet in the air and eventually it led somehow to becoming a Designer and a Builder.

PRODUCTION FRAMING

Production Framing is a modern approach to building which emphasizes quality, cost, and speed and accomplishes that through education, dicipline, and sheer drive. A Production Framer serves a four year informal apprenticeship and is taught to approach everything he builds by breaking it down into phases, steps, cuts, and hammer swings until each action, performed precisely, leads naturally to the next. A good framer may have little concept of Zen as a religion, but in his work, he practices it eight hours a day.

GENERAL CONTRACTING
You want it built. You have to be able to afford it. And you want it on time. That's why you hire a builder. Underlying all of that is the simple fact that every building in the world represents somebody's dream. Shelter may be the second great human need after food but a building should be a little more than a roof and four walls. It ought to have style and it ought to last and a good Builder knows how to care for a person's dream with Integrity.
