PROJECT DESCRIPTION    
 
The Designer agrees to perform the design and drafting work for the project described above, as provided herein.  
 
PHASE ONE PRELIMINARY DESIGN  
The first phase of this design agreement is the development of the Preliminary Design, which shall include several reviews and revisions    
culminating in a floor plan and an exterior elevation (if applicable), to be developed as follows:    
   
EXISTING PLAN 1. Visit project site and consult with Owner to discuss design objectives and alternatives.    
  2. Visit project site / take photographs and field measurements / draw existing floor plan.    
FLOOR PLAN 3. Draw initial conceptual floor plan (Floor Plan "A") / print and send to Owner for review.    
  4. Consult with Owner regarding revisions to Floor Plan "A" / revise, print and send Floor Plan "B" to Owner for review.  
  5. Consult with Owner regarding revisions to Floor Plan "B" / revise, print and send Floor Plan "C" to Owner for review.  
ELEVATION 6. Draw initial conceptual elevation (Elevation "A") / print and send to Owner for review.    
    7. Consult with Owner regarding revisions to Elevation "A" / revise, print and send Elevation "B" to Owner for review.  
   
PHASE TWO CONSTRUCTION PLANS    
The second phase of this design agreement is the production of the full set of Construction Plans which will be performed at the Owner's option.  
If the Owner elects to have the Construction Plans produced, they shall include the drawings, schedules and details indicated below:    
   
  o Floor Plan of Existing Building   o Portico and/or Porch Details    
  o Site Plan w/Concrete Flatwork   o Stair and Rail Details    
  o Site Location Map   o Glass Block Installation Details    
  o Foundation Plan   o Fireplace and Chimney Details    
  o Floor Plan(s) w/Electrical Layout   o TJI & LVL Installation Details    
  o Square Footage Calculations   o Roman Tub Installation Details    
  o Roof and/or Deck Structural Plan(s)   o Door and Window Schedules    
  o Truss Layout and Profiles   o Post, Header and Beam Schedule    
  o Roofing Plan and Cornice Details   o Electrical Symbols Schedule    
  o Exterior Elevations   o Metal Connector Schedule    
  o Endwall and/or Sidewall Sections   o Nailing and Fastening Schedule

DESIGN FEES & PAYMENT SCHEDULE    
For providing the services described above, the Owner agrees to pay the Builder as follows:

PAYMENT 1. Preliminary Design, payable upon acceptance: ِ $

  5. Remaining balance, if any, payable upon completion.    
  6. $50.00 per hour for additional revisions or consultations in excess of those included herein. (1 hr minimum)    
  7. $ 8.00 per page for reproducible vellum plots produced in addition to those included herein.    
  8. $ 2.00 per page for blueprints made in addition to those included herein.    
  9. $ 9.00 for each UPS pickup or delivery in addition to those included herein.    
  10. $50.00 for each courier pickup or delivery. (same day service) (only when specifically requested)    
 
Designer guarantees that the Construction Plans will meet all the requirements of the local building department or Builder will revise and/or supplement them without charge. This  
proposal does not include engineering certifications or review, soils exploration, soils analysis, energy calculations or surveying unless specifically indicated above. Owner will  
provide Builder with a property plat. Upon payment, all floor plans and elevations shall become the property of the Owner. No credit shall be given for unused services. Invoices  
for additional charges are due within seven days. Outstanding balances over 30 days shall accrue interest at 1.5% per month until paid. This agreement may be withdrawn if not  
mutually accepted within 30 days.
